Job Overview

As a Data Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end connectivity solutions that propel organisations forward. Our team is dedicated to designing, building, deploying, and optimising infrastructure that can be completely relied on.

With a strong focus on innovation and collaboration, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Dublin-based team as a Trainee Structured Cabling / Data Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with Ireland's largest IT network infrastructure solutions company and be part of some exciting projects, including large multinational companies.

While previous experience will be advantageous, training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Wiring of copper Cat6, Cat6A, Fibre, and Voice cable
  • Terminating & testing of copper cable
  • Pulling cables (Cat 6, Cat 6A, Copper Cable, Fibre Optic Multicore)
  • Splicing & testing of fibre cable
  • Basic cable fault finding
  • Reading & marking of site drawings
  • Patching and circuits
  • Health & Safety procedures on construction sites
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and time keeping skills
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Flexible to travel when needed
  • Valid Safepass
  • Own transport desirable
