Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Manager to play a central role in creating, developing and validating advanced medical technologies. The ideal candidate will bring together expertise in mechanical, mechatronic, electronic and manufacturing disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the design development and validation of assemblies sub-assemblies components and packaging.
  • Define product specifications based on requirements and intended use.
  • Select suitable materials processes tooling automation and equipment.
  • Conduct engineering studies and proof-of-concept testing to evaluate feasibility.
  • Drive improvements in design and processes to strengthen quality performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Perform and lead risk management activities (PHA FTA DFMEA/UFMEA).
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize processes.
Necessary Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
  • 6-9 years' experience in medical device design including at least 5 years leading mechanical design teams.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles root cause analysis and design documentation.
  • Skilled in GD&T Design for Six Sigma DfSS DOE and statistical analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of materials manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability/assembly.
