We are seeking a skilled software developer to be part of our On Demand team in the Cork office.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to design and develop innovative software solutions using the latest technologies in the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create software utilizing cutting-edge best practices
  • Work collaboratively in an agile SCRUM environment and leverage modern coding environments
  • Take ownership of project success by designing components and driving their development forward
Requirements
  • Completion of a computer science undergraduate degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C#/.NET Core
  • Familiarity with writing quality code, including unit testing, mocking, automation, integration testing, and code coverage
  • A good understanding of modern software practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, coding standards, and agile methodologies
  • The ability to work effectively within a microservice architecture
  • A solid grasp of building scalable web applications using Web API, RESTful API design
  • Experience working with Azure Functions, Docker, Kubernetes & AKS
  • Familiarity with Azure Stack or Entra ID, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment of services and components using Azure DevOps (preferred), Jenkins, or similar systems
Desirable Skills
  • Proficiency in Python, frontend development using frameworks such as Angular (preferred), React or VueJS
  • Serverless development using Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or Containers
  • Experience building Cloud Native applications using Azure or AWS using PaaS services
