Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to join our team in Waterford. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, and providing excellent customer service.

Assist in food preparation and presentation, and set-up of the venue

Provide excellent customer service and create memorable experiences for the guests

Wash and clean dishes, utensils and cleaning kitchen equipment using professional equipment

Ensure the kitchen and service areas are maintained clean and organised at all times

Monitor and maintain stock levels with a proactive approach

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in kitchen/catering environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Food Safety and HACCP
  • Passion for food service with a positive and can-do attitude
