Key Payroll Specialist in South Mayo Required

This is a challenging full-time role prioritizing the efficient processing of payroll for 150 employees, with a focus on supporting accounts payable operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Effectively manage payroll ensuring timely processing of timesheets and accurate wage calculations, including overtime and deductions.
  2. Process payroll adjustments, corrections and employee inquiries while adhering to Irish payroll regulations (PAYE, PRSI, USC).
  3. Prepare statutory payroll reports and tax filings, maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.

Utilize advanced payroll software, maintain detailed records, assist with financial reports and reconcile invoicing. Collaborate closely with HR and accounting departments to streamline payroll procedures and improve overall efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in payroll management.
  2. Excellent knowledge of payroll processing, including legislation and compliance.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to plan, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  4. Attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality are essential for this role.
