Job Title: Social Care Worker Role PurposeWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Care Worker to join our team in providing support to individuals with intellectual disability and autism. The successful candidate will work within a community-based organisation committed to delivering a high-quality service, working closely with the Social Care Leader, multi-disciplinary team, and families to provide positive behaviour and person-centred supports. Key Responsibilities• Support individuals with intellectual disability and autism in a fast-paced and busy environment.• Work as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service.• Provide positive behaviour and person-centred supports to ensure a good quality of life for the individuals.• Collaborate with the Social Care Leader, multi-disciplinary team, and families to achieve individualised goals.• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Required Skills and Qualifications• QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability) or equivalent qualification.• CORU registration or current application process.• Previous experience of supporting individuals with intellectual disability and autism.• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Benefits• Full-time and part-time roles available, based on a roster system.• Competitive salary scale (€39,951 - €56,089 per annum).• Saturday rates, double time on Sunday, unsociable pay rates applicable.• Permanent pensionable position.• Individual training budgets for all staff.• Additional staff on shift extended support available throughout the service. What We Offer• Career advice and support from experienced social care professionals.• 24-hour response time.• Constant communication.• Full onboarding assistance from start to finish.• Access to additional training.• Interview advice and preparation. Why Work With Us?• Flexibility.• Resilience.• Teamwork.
