Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team in a permanent part-time position. This role requires the ability to provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, assess and respond to their needs, and communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and address the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement person-centred plans that promote independence and quality of life.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Current Live Register Certificate from the relevant regulatory body.
  • RNID or RGN qualification essential.
  • Full clean manual driving license and ability to obtain a Class D1 license.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities desirable.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary scale: €36,919 x 12 increments - €53,340 per annum (pro-rata for part-time).
  • Long Service Increment: €54,928 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) granted after 3 years on the maximum of the scale.
  • Enhanced Nurse: €43,872 x 7 increments - €55,093 per annum (pro-rata for part-time).
  • Location allowance of €2,637 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) for services with 75% of persons supported having severe/profound intellectual disability.
Additional Payments and Tenure
  • Weekends, public holidays, and sleep-ins/night duty when worked.
  • Permanent, Part-Time and Pensionable.
