Facilities Management Specialist

The role of Technical Facilities Operative is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our estate. This individual is responsible for overseeing various aspects of facilities management, including waste management, lighting control systems, access control systems, utility data collection, and maintenance approval processes.
Key responsibilities include conducting preventive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance tasks; responding to emergency breakdowns and onsite plumbing issues; assisting in the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment on site; ensuring business-critical systems are constantly maintained and effectively backed up with a suitable Business Continuity Plan; coordinating with Hard Services contractors; providing maintenance support, data entry services, equipment record updates, and performance reports; supporting the Estate Manager with day-to-day management of Hard and Soft Services; and maintaining detailed on-site records and reporting to the Technical Operations Manager in a clear concise manner.
Additionally, the successful candidate must maintain awareness of corporate image importance, ESG goals, and targets; ensure all occupiers and visitors have a first-class experience; and maintain detailed records and report to the Technical Operations Manager accordingly.
