Senior Hydrogeologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our client's dynamic team based in Dublin. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to scope and deliver projects in line with client requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Technical report writing
    • Providing leadership by overseeing, guiding, and managing junior team members and sub-consultants to meet project requirements effectively
    • Communicating with clients, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with all project requirements
    • Assisting in project and program management for large and complex projects, including post-planning approval assistance
    • Preparation of and creating proposals to address client needs

Requirements:

  • MSc in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the environmental sector
  • Self-motivated, organised and capable of working on their own initiative
  • High attention to detail, excellent report writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and assemble various strands of complex data into clear, concise outputs
  • Capacity to respond to tight timelines, reporting needs, and internal reporting structures
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
