Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Accountant in our team. The successful candidate will play a key part in building and managing client relationships, overseeing client portfolios, and delivering exceptional financial services.

The ideal candidate should possess a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with relevant experience, as well as at least 2 years' experience in the Irish market. A background in an accountancy practice, managing client portfolios, is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on their financial and business needs.
  • Oversee accounting functions, including the preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS102 and IFRS standards.
  • Ensure timely preparation, completion, and submission of financial statements to regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct thorough file reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and properly maintained.
  • Lead, train, and support junior accountants, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality performance.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
  • At least 2 years' experience in the Irish market
  • Background in an accountancy practice, managing client portfolios
  • Strong knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
