Role Overview

The Europe Group Junior Accountant will be involved in several finance processes across the region, including consolidation of monthly management accounts, reporting, cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

They will be a strong team player with a general understanding of accounting principles and processes and strong MS Excel knowledge.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts with supporting financial analysis and commentary
  • Supporting the yearly consolidated Europe budget process and monthly consolidated Europe forecasting process
  • Assisting in month-end reporting for assigned company in line with region/group deadlines and assistance with other month and year-end reporting
  • Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts of assigned entity
  • Supporting the preparation of the weekly/monthly cash flow forecast to ensure an accurate representation of future cash flows and balances
  • Working on ad-hoc projects including new systems implementations, business acquisitions, cross-border projects, etc.
  • Work across Europe Finance team to support whole team as necessary
