International Tax and Global Mobility Professional

The Role of the International Tax and Global Mobility Professional is a crucial one, requiring an in-depth understanding of international tax laws and regulations. As part of this role, you will be advising clients on the planning implications of international assignments.

Liaising with global tax partners to ensure assignees are tax compliant in various host jurisdictions is also a key aspect of this position. You will work closely with management to prepare detailed technical advice in relation to various tax issues including legislation and case law research.

Furthermore, you will advise companies in relation to their withholding obligations in respect to cross-border employees, as well as prepare and deliver training presentations to various departments within the firm covering various areas of taxation.

Provision of regular technical training sessions to tax trainees covering various areas of expatriate tax is another essential duty of this role. Managing and building strong client relationships in both compliance and consulting projects is also vital.

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 5 years of expatriate tax experience servicing an international client base. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills, are essential.

A strong employment tax technical knowledge will be necessary in addition to knowledge of other taxes. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in international tax and global mobility.
