Medical Laboratory Specialist

This role offers a challenging and diverse work environment, where you will be responsible for all technical/scientific aspects of the department's work. Key responsibilities include experience in Molecular diagnostics and Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing, test method verification and validation, ensuring quality management systems conform to ISO standards.

The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Medical Laboratory Science, with eligibility for Fellowship of The Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine. Experience in a medical laboratory setting is also required.

Key Requirements:

  • A postgraduate degree in Medical Laboratory Science
  • Eligibility for Fellowship of The Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine
  • Registered Medical Scientist with CORU
  • At least 4 years of post-qualification experience in a Medical Laboratory
