Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of finance principles.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support a wide variety of finance tasks, including VAT queries, regulatory reporting, and month-end/year-end financial close processes
  • Reconcile supplier turnover with the general ledger to ensure accurate calculation of customer rebates
  • Post rebate journals to customer accounts on a monthly basis
  • Liaise with a nationwide network of member companies to resolve queries regarding rebates and supplier trading terms
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit
  • Generate monthly customer purchase reports
  • Work closely with senior management to assist with general finance queries and project-based work
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Previous accounts or finance experience; IATI qualification or part-qualified accountant desirable
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
