Job Overview

The Head of Finance Operations is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the finance operations function, ensuring accurate and timely financial processing and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Leads and manages finance operations including accounts payable, payroll & pensions, accounts receivable, client accounts, banking, taxation, general ledger, and systems administration.
  • E nsures adherence to financial protocols and maintains a strong relationship with banks.
  • Drives efficiency and automation in financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
Requirements

To be successful as a Head of Finance Operations, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required).
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) required.
  • 10-15+ years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
