Job Description:

The primary objective of the Piping Operations Lead is to oversee and coordinate piping installation activities at the construction site. This involves ensuring that all work adheres to project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, and schedule requirements.

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including daily supervision of piping construction activities, interpretation of piping isometric drawings and material specifications, and ensuring work quality meets design and project standards.

Key tasks include monitoring contractor and subcontractor work progress, coordinating with QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Engineering departments, and managing personnel, tools, and materials on-site.

Additionally, this position involves conducting toolbox talks, submitting progress reports and inspection requests, and promoting a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all relevant HSE regulations.

Technical expertise in piping systems, welding techniques, and construction standards is essential, as well as experience in piping construction, preferably in a supervisory capacity.


Required Qualifications:
  • Third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in piping construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, welding techniques, and construction standards.
  • Proficiency in interpreting isometrics, P&IDs, and piping material specifications.
  • Familiarity with hydrotest packages and pre-commissioning processes.
