Looking for a skilled maintenance professional to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Maintenance of plant and equipment is crucial for optimal performance. You will be responsible for ensuring all machinery is in good working condition.
  • You will work closely with the production team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
  • A thorough understanding of pre-start, hygiene, and safety checks is essential for this role.
  • Reporting any faults or damage to the Maintenance Manager is critical to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Repairing industrial production equipment such as machines, conveyors, and packaging machines is a key aspect of this job.
  • You will assist the Maintenance Manager in implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Monitoring plant and equipment performance is vital for identifying areas for improvement.
  • Documenting maintenance activities and keeping management informed of potential issues is essential for successful completion of tasks.

What we are looking for:

  • Prior experience working with high-speed machines and conveyors, packaging machines, gearbox repairs, air automation, hydraulics, and welding is highly desirable.
  • Significant experience working as a maintenance fitter in a manufacturing/industrial setting, preferably in food or packaging industries, is required.
  • Basic IT skills and experience with automation systems is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing processes is an asset but not essential.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
