Job Title: Power Systems TechnicianOverview:A leading manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Technician to join their team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment within the production environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on all electrical equipment, including testing and fault finding.
  • Carry out work related to electrical cable joints and terminations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments on preventative maintenance and repair work carried out.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards in all areas and ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard.
  • Remain Health and Safety conscious at all times, identifying potential risks and implementing controls to mitigate them.
Requirements:
  • A formal qualification as an electrician, with 3 years post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to cross/multi-skilled electrical and mechanical work, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in dealing with breakdowns, routine inspections, and project electrical work, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintenance of a safe working environment, adhering to industry regulations and guidelines.
  • Able to work independently, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
