The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting machinery to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support in a fast-paced production setting.">
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.">
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective repairs in a timely manner.">
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation and records.">
  • Support production teams by delivering high-quality maintenance services.">
  • Ensure all maintenance work is conducted safely, in line with site procedures and industry regulations.">
  • Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.">
  • Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks) to provide emergency maintenance support.">

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting Qualification (or equivalent).">
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.">
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.">
  • Experience working with high-speed manufacturing equipment.">
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently.">
  • Flexible approach to tasks, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.">
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).">
