Commercial Professional Wanted

We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Professional to join our team as a Senior Commercial Manager.

About the Role:
  • Manage the production of monthly value cost reconciliations and forecasting reports to ensure accurate financial information.
  • Prepare and agree monthly project payment claims, ensuring timely submission and resolution.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external project cashflow information for informed decision-making.
  • Oversee change control processes, identifying and negotiating changes to projects.
  • Analyze delay and disruption impacts on projects, providing expert recommendations.
  • Monitor all commercial aspects during project execution.
  • Assume commercial lead roles on projects, driving successful outcomes.
  • Liaise with clients and their representatives to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Administer contract provisions related to notifications and procurements.
  • Negotiate and agree subcontractor final accounts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a commercial or quantity surveying role.
  • Strong contractual and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and design team interactions.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Experience administering various forms of contracts, including RIAI and bespoke contracts.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software packages, such as Cubit and CostX.
  • Prior experience working on high-quality medium to large-scale projects across multiple sectors.
  • A valid driver's license is required for this role.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
