Position Overview:

The Fund Accounting Senior Analyst will be a core part of a high-growth area within SEI Investments.

This individual will maintain the accounting books and records of the Funds in the team, including the calculation of the Net Asset Value, preparation of financial statements, and regulatory reporting. They will also forge strong internal relationships within their team and with clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of the Fund's NAV.
  • Prepare expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity analysis, and Fund fee calculations.
  • Maintain established controls during the daily and NAV production cycle.
  • Participate in new Fund launches within their team.
  • Build strong relationships within the team and with clients through conscientious query management and problem resolution.
  • Create reporting for submission to external parties such as Fund Boards and the Regulator.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits as requested.
  • Develop strong product knowledge through exposure to complex Fund structures and financial instruments.
  • Participate in department initiatives and group projects as appropriate.
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees on the team where necessary.

To succeed in this role, you will have 12 months+ experience in Fund operations, preferably with experience in Alternative Funds. Some experience in private markets is preferable.

You will possess excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, and attention to detail, along with strong organizational and administrative skills, energy, accountability, and drive. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, and fluency in English (both verbal and written) is required.
