Remote SEO Project Manager

You will oversee the execution of search engine optimization strategies and projects. Your goal is to improve website visibility, drive organic traffic, and enhance lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analyses of client proposals, project details, and documentation to ensure a clear understanding of the client's objectives and requirements.
  • Collaborate with content, link building, technical, and citation team strategists to develop a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with the client's goals.
  • Participate in internal kickoff meetings to discuss project objectives, services provided, and allocated hours.
  • Establish and maintain internal project documentation in project management software and Google Drive to facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Perform strategy audits to identify key issues hindering the site's ranking, including Google penalties, lost rankings, lack of or bad backlinks, thin content, and un-themed title/meta properties.
  • Conduct keyword research to achieve client goals, focusing on intent-based keywords that drive leads for services or products.
  • Develop a sitemap to fix and/or add pages to the current sitemap for ranking targeted keywords.
  • Create an information content marketing strategy for national campaigns seeking exposure or generating leads.
  • Break down the strategy into clear tasks and assign resources needed to perform them, setting due dates and deadlines while monitoring progress and addressing delays or roadblocks promptly.
  • Estimate hours for new pages or updates, enhance word count, and assign tasks based on priority to achieve quick wins.
  • Manage campaign expenses, staying within budget, estimating monthly costs, and ensuring all work is completed within scope and on time.
  • Identify and address potential roadblocks or issues during the project lifecycle.

Requirements:Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or web development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management.
  • Solid understanding of general SEO principles and the web design process.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-focused.
  • Comfortable using Hubstaff to track work hours.
