Job Title: Senior Staff Characterization Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Staff Characterization Specialist to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with experienced design, applications and test engineering teams to ensure compliance against target specifications, industry standards and customer acceptance criteria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing IC characterization strategies covering ATE and bench level environments, designing strategies for accelerated lifetime testing, skew-lot specification and temperature testing, and documenting comprehensive silicon characterization plans.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will participate in dedicated hardware design to support IC characterization steps, automate lab-based and ATE-based characterization steps for robust data result gathering and analysis, and collaborate with design and test engineering teams for circuit analysis and root cause analysis of unexpected results.

The position also requires expertise in User Experience, Product Design and Product Management, as well as experience of full-product characterisation and ATE test flows. Knowledge of power conversion and embedded systems is also highly desirable.

We require a post-graduate qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar, 10+ years' relevant engineering experience, and 5+ years of people management experience. If you have the required skills and qualifications, please apply.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop IC characterization strategies covering ATE and bench level environments

  • Document comprehensive silicon characterization plans
  • Participate in dedicated hardware design to support IC characterization steps
  • Automate lab-based and ATE-based characterization steps for robust data result gathering and analysis
  • Collaborate with design and test engineering teams for circuit analysis and root cause analysis of unexpected results
  • Perform AC timing characterization of customer proprietary communications interfaces
  • Develop methodologies for high data discipline to ensure hardware platform robustness and quality of results
  • Requirements:
  • Post-graduate qualification in Electronic Engineering or similar
  • 10+ years' relevant engineering experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Expertise in User Experience, Product Design and Product Management
  • Experience of full-product characterisation and ATE test flows
  • Knowledge of power conversion and embedded systems
