Characterization Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Characterization Engineer to work with our design, applications and test engineering teams to ensure that our silicon products meet target specifications, industry standards and customer acceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop IC characterization strategies for automated test equipment and bench-level characterization environments.
  • Create comprehensive silicon characterization plans.
  • Design and develop dedicated hardware to support IC characterization steps.
  • Automate lab-based and automated test equipment-based characterization steps for robust data gathering and analysis.
  • Collaborate with design and test engineering teams for circuit analysis and root cause analysis of unexpected results.
  • Characterize customer proprietary communications interfaces.
  • Develop methodologies for high data discipline to support hardware platform robustness.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate or degree qualification in Electronic Engineering.
  • 10+ years' relevant engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Expertise in User Experience, Product Design and Product Management.
  • Experience with full-product characterization and automated test equipment test flows.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
