Job Title: Payroll Co-ordinator

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our team in a key role that involves all aspects of the payroll process.

The Role:

The Europe Payroll Department is responsible for processing the monthly European payroll for 850 employees across 26+ countries.

As a Payroll Co-ordinator, you will support the registration, taxes and employee settlement processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments within strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate payroll data from internal sources and communicate with external providers.
  • Process payroll accurately, adhering to country-specific requirements.
  • Validate monthly payroll payments via reconciliation of reports.
  • Provide accounting information to the Finance team in a timely manner.
  • Manage month-end payroll activities, including journal preparation and employee tax reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory payments and deadlines in each country.
  • Handle queries efficiently, providing prompt responses.
  • Work closely with the Europe Team Leader and external providers on ad-hoc payroll activities.
  • Maintain the cashflow schedule for Finance.
  • Raise and receive purchase orders as required.
  • Collect and collate data as needed.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for HR and Finance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure payroll integrity.
  • Coordinate quarterly MBO & Commission payments with HR and Finance.
  • Assist in checking and distributing quarterly commission statements.
  • Foster effective communication with cross-functional departments within and outside the Operations Centre.
