R&D Project Manager Job

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to support our Automotive client in Galway. This is a key role that will play a vital part in the success of our project.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in R&D project management, with experience working in regulated environments such as automotive, medical devices or similar industries.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the R&D function, managing contributors, and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the specific PDP of PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management)
  • In charge of the robust design in line with economic targets
  • Applies Standardisation rules, exceptionally will request the standardisations based on sound justifications
  • Call for all necessary design reviews
  • Makes sure that Design Reviews of other networks are happening in a timely manner (Purchase, Industrial)
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in R&D project management in regulated environments
  • Experience in dealing with customers with the ability to interpret customer requests with clear communication
  • Fluent in English with a clear and confident communication ability
  • Extensive experience in planning of projects & use of planning tools such as MS project or similar planning tools
