Electronics Development Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Developer to contribute to the development of existing and new systems in our Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough laboratory testing of complete electronic control systems to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with electronics and mechanical design engineers to create technical product specifications.
  • Set up test stations, power supplies, and measuring instruments as required.
  • Analyze non-conforming products returned by customers and compile detailed reports on findings.
  • Identify root cause components related to faults through iterative debugging.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate failures using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and specialized test equipment.
  • Support other technicians and engineers in diagnosing electronic systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and service personnel to debug and address electronic issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and repair logs.
  • Assist in specifying software updates and changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Previous experience in electronics development is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
  • Effective debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine interest in technology and electronics.
  • Experience in electrical/electronic debugging and fault finding.
  • Full clean driving license.
