Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead a high-profile project with a contractor known for high standards and commitment to excellence.

The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled project team, with strong support from health & safety, quality and management functions. This role offers the opportunity to develop your career with a progressive organisation.

This position is ideal for a construction manager with a mechanical background and a track record of delivering complex projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site safety and quality, coordinate project scheduling, control costs and oversee day-to-day site operations.
  • Assist in managing site safety, working closely with the project and safety teams.
  • Lead in managing site quality assurance, working closely with the QA manager.
  • Track and control all project costs, labour, materials, plant & equipment, variations and valuations.
  • Support oversight of day-to-day site operations and directly manage the project team to ensure disciplines are aligned with project goals.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the full design and construction process.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Proven ability to manage people and programmes, coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating and managing large projects and a minimum of five years as a construction manager.
