We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in delivering a landmark renewable energy project in Cork.

This is a brilliant opportunity for the right individual to work on site in Charleville, Cork with a hybrid working model available of 1-2 days per week working from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Encouraging and developing a culture of commercial awareness within the team; managing junior staff; while ensuring the site team adheres to governance
  • Preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required
  • Preparation of valuations/application for payment; preparation of cost reports to the client with contractually compliant supporting documentation
  • Preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules
  • Attending client engagement events for equivalent level customer feedback
  • Involvement in business improvement initiatives

The ideal profile is someone with:

  • Degree qualification in quantity surveying/construction economics
  • Management of mechanical & electrical packages and subcontractors
  • Estimation of mechanical & electrical tenders from first principles
  • Experience in civils and electrical projects, renewable energy projects, or cabling projects
  • Remeasurable works experience and fidic contracts beneficial
