The role of Maintenance Fitter involves ensuring the ongoing maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Description

As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment-related process problems and failures to determine root cause and investigate repairs. You will also assist in developing and driving ongoing and preventative maintenance programs, maintain accurate data for analysis on equipment, and support engineering and production personnel on continuous improvements and monitor equipment to recommend process improvements.

Additionally, you will participate in Continuous Improvement Projects that use lean and six sigma tools to improve overall business efficiency and contribute to fostering a culture of innovation through identifying innovative solutions to process problems and actively encouraging team members to share new ideas.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience preferably in medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience in a position of responsibility in management or leading of a technical team.
