Job Description

As a senior professional in the technology sector, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and implementation of innovative device and future technology product portfolios across various consumer and business segments. Your key responsibilities will include creating comprehensive product portfolios with in-depth knowledge of global technology trends, developing vendor strategies to support customer focus and future direction, shaping portfolio and ranging decisions based on market trends and customer needs, and leading strategic outlook and development of product strategy and ranging for all hardware supporting consumers and business customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development of consumer and business product portfolios with expertise in global technology trends
  • Vendor strategy development to align with customer focus and future direction
  • Portfolio and ranging decision-making based on market trends and customer needs
  • Strategic leadership and development of product strategy and ranging for all hardware
  • Researching and understanding global technology trends to support customers
  • Presentation of ranges to senior management for buy-in
  • Management of product vendor relationships and leading vendor roadmap strategies
  • Development of devices, broadband, products, and technology portfolio ranging to support strategic ambitions
Requirements:
  • Experience in developing and executing technology ranges or portfolios for telecoms or multiple industries
  • Passion for technology, mobile devices, consumer products, and being future-focused
  • Excellent partnership management skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits and system impacts
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with strategic presentation abilities
  • Market and global insights knowledge with ability to extract key information for ranging decisions
  • Adaptability to fast-paced change in vendor partner roadmaps and effective cascading
  • Understanding of EU and local regulations shaping product portfolios
  • High-level analysis of technical requirements and correlation to product roadmap and implementation

  • Proven relationship management skills with leading capabilities
  • Demonstration of successful delivery of mobile device or technology products
  • Consistent ability to identify rational solutions to emotive issues
