Data Center Operations Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our Engineering Operations Team. This role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure in cloud regions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in data center operations and maintenance. They will work closely with other teams to ensure high standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost for customers.
This role is part of the Engineering and Facilities team and involves maintaining availability for customers, ensuring maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure, and upkeep and operation of the DC facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC equipment within the Data Center/Facility.
- Develop a plan for emergency repair of critical assets.
- Troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Operate under minimal supervision.
- Create and close Work Orders with appropriate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used into asset management system.
- Maintain changes in state in Mission Critical infrastructure in support of corrective/preventive maintenance.
- Test quality, performance, safety, and reliability of products, equipment, processes.
