About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the HR function, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. They will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies that enhance employee experience and drive business growth.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Design and deliver engaging onboarding programs, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment for new joiners.
- Collaborate with line managers and supervisors to drive performance management processes, ensuring effective employee development and growth.
- Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts in a timely and fair manner.
- Develop and maintain employee benefit programs, working closely with external vendors to ensure seamless administration.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, promoting a culture of inclusion, diversity, and well-being.
- Compile and report HR metrics for weekly and monthly management meetings, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct benchmarking studies to identify best practices in HR, informing strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A third-level qualification in HR or CIPD certification.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Irish employment law, with expertise in handling grievances and disciplinary cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a keen interest in career progression and professional development.
- Experience working in a unionized environment is an advantage.
