The role of the Social Work Team Leader is to implement and support agreed programmes and projects in relation to the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015, human rights and equality across services within Dublin North City & County.
Responsibilities include playing a significant role in supporting the implementation of other human rights and equality issues including the HSE National Consent Policy, Advance Healthcare Directives, DNA-CPR and Universal Access for People with Disabilities.
The successful candidate will provide social work expertise and input to support the management and implementation of agreed programmes and projects and ensure that they are evidence based and delivered to cost, time and quality requirements through the application of required standards, frameworks, tools, and processes.
Key areas of focus include:
- Implementing programmes and projects in accordance with the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015
- Supporting the implementation of other human rights and equality issues
- Providing social work expertise and input to support programme management and implementation
- Ensuring programmes and projects are delivered to required standards, frameworks, tools, and processes
This role requires a strong understanding of social work principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a team environment.
