Role Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Financial Analyst to join our client, a leading manufacturer. The role is key within the management team, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting the General Manager in all finance related matters.The right candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of 3 years post accounting qualification experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support preparation and review of weekly and monthly financial accounts
  • Prepare variance analysis and commentary on weekly and monthly accounts
  • Involvement in projects to improve business performance
  • Ownership and approval of system standard pricing updates
  • Update and maintain financial systems
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are up to date and accurate
  • Streamline processes and implement ERP system improvements
  • Support annual budget preparation and internal/external audits
  • Manage CAPEX and associated queries
  • Track and analyze weekly and monthly results for profit and production
  • Prepare bi-monthly Board meeting minutes

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years post accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with industry experience
  • Strong commercial mindset and exposure to procurement is beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
