Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Connacht, Ireland.

Job Overview:

This role will involve providing technical assistance and resolving hardware and software issues. You will work closely with other team members globally on project management, system monitoring, security incident response, and user provisioning and deployments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and resolve workstation hardware and software issues.
  • Document, track, and monitor incidents and requests in detail within the IT service management platform.
  • Ensure proper follow-up and meet ticket service level targets.
  • Provision and deploy new PC hardware and peripherals for new and existing employees.
  • Support generation of procedure documentation and update knowledge base articles.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
  • 2-3 years experience working in a similar IT technician position, manufacturing experience is desirable.
  • Strong English language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
