Mechanical Works Manager

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all aspects of mechanical works, ensuring teams operate within defined standards whilst satisfying all safety, quality and cost control requirements.
- Act as main point of contact for the project, providing information to various departments as required.
- Taking responsibility of sites to ensure multi-disciplined teams of trade operatives are effectively managed.
- Identify issues and risks to both project delivery and budget in advance.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of systems to ensure high-quality workmanship is delivered by teams of multi-skilled operatives, sub-contractors, apprentices, and agency workers.
- Ensure consistent delivery of an efficient and cost-effective customer-focussed operational repairs service covering all maintenance and repair activities.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of Mechanical Building Services installations.
- Excellent written communication skills and confidence when discussing projects with key stakeholders.
- Dedication to maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Proven leadership skills including management.
The successful candidate will hold:
- HND or Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
