**Job Title:** Project Manager

 

The role of a Project Manager is crucial in the Transport and Logistics division. You will be responsible for leading a team to support the design and creation of a comprehensive transport model for the organisation. This includes ensuring all operations align with the project's objectives, standards, and budget.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need to establish and lead stakeholder management to ensure that decisions made throughout the project are aligned to project scope and objectives. Additionally, you will develop a service specification framework defining clear criteria and standards for resource management, ensuring a safe, reliable, cost-effective, and transparent methodology to meet needs.

 

Another key responsibility is managing route optimisation and technology integration. This includes trialling advanced route optimisation technology to improve scheduling, reduce inefficiencies, and maximise resource allocation to be included as part of the tender preparation.

 

You will also manage resource coordination plans by streamlining fleet management in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and accessibility standards. Furthermore, you will conduct pilot tests to evaluate the operational effectiveness of the transport model, identify challenges, and refine the system based on feedback.

 

**Requirements:*

Previous experience in project management capacity, ideally within a transport function

Experience in drafting briefings and presentations for stakeholder events

Strong organisational skills and ability to work as part of a on/off site team environment, self-manage and prioritise daily workload

Effective communication skills with the ability to lead and influence at all levels

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
