Senior Civils Estimator

This is a high-profile opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Civils Estimator to work on substations, wind farms, and solar projects across Ireland. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing accurate cost estimates for renewables projects.
  • Reviewing tender documents to define scope and requirements.
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams for pricing and programme details.
  • Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
  • Supporting tender reviews, client discussions, and handover to delivery teams.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market rates and industry trends.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in estimating for civil engineering projects, preferably in the renewables sector.
  • A strong understanding of works for substations, wind farms, and solar projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and communication skills.
