Production Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Production Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Makes significant contributions to continuous improvement by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Sets up, processes and inspects materials for department operations, operates and sets up machinery, and meets production standards.
  • Accurately collects, verifies and records production and/or quality data, ensuring proper documentation of all processes.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Leaving Certificate.
  • Honesty and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to operate machinery and process materials.
  • Dexterity to perform essential job functions involving standing, reaching, twisting, walking, bending, crouching, lifting, etc.
  • Mathematical, documentation, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow specifications and procedures.
  • Capacity to tolerate chemical odours/smells; dust; humidity; loud, noisy and moving machinery.
  • Confidentiality regarding customer and company information.
  • Legible handwriting and basic computer experience for data entry.

Working Conditions:

  • Shift: 2 Cycle (07.00-15.00 and 15.00-23.00)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Week 1: 07.00-15.00
  • Week 2: 15.00-23.00

Compensation:

Rate of Pay: 15.28 Per Hour + 20% Shift Allowance
