Cyber Security Consultant

Seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Analyst to support security operations for an exciting project. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
  • Lead security awareness initiatives and educate teams on best practices
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement security improvements and mitigate risks
  • Monitor security events through SIEM tools to detect and address potential threats
  • Maintain security documentation, report on incidents, and contribute to audits
  • Optimize security tools like firewalls, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms
  • Conduct cybersecurity evaluations for third-party tool requests
  • Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience (ideally in contract/project environments)
  • Strong understanding of network security, incident response, and risk assessment
  • Experience working with SIEM tools and enterprise security platforms
  • Expertise across ISO 27001, NIST frameworks, GDPR compliance, and modern security strategies
  • Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional team collaboration
