Piping Design and Coordination Manager

We seek a seasoned Piping Design and Coordination Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality piping design and coordination services for various projects.

  • Leadership

  • Project Coordination
  • Ensure seamless integration of piping workflows into multidisciplinary BIM models, delivering high-quality piping deliverables and resolving design clashes.
  • Resource Planning
  • Recruit, allocate, and manage resources to meet project demands, ensuring technical and commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Team Development
  • Build a world-class team for both piping and BIM, maximizing the potential development of team members.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Implement design safety procedures, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Client Engagement
  • BUILD strong relationships with clients, supporting proposal preparation and contributing to business development activities.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Enhance efficiency by implementing lessons learned, developing tools, and contributing to procedure improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Industry Expertise: 10–15 years of experience in piping design and coordination within pharmaceutical, medical devices, or industrial sectors.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in piping design tools such as CADWorx, Plant 3D, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM360.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in managing discipline teams, estimating hours, resource planning, and delivering projects within timelines and budgets.
  • Leadership: Strong mentoring, team-building, and professional development capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, civil, and architectural disciplines.
  • Communication: Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
