We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our health safety environment efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing health safety environment risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead mentor and oversee all project safety advisors under your supervision.
- Champion a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing the companys health safety environment policies and procedures across the project.
- Conduct routine site inspections reporting findings and ensuring timely resolution of any issues identified.
- Ensure the project team is equipped with all necessary health safety environment documentation.
- Verify that project-specific health safety environment plans align with companystandards and regulatory requirements.
- Foster open communication among project stakeholders to ensure effective management of health safety environment risks.
- Maintain accurate records in line with internal policies and external audit standards.
- Support site management and subcontractors with risk assessments evaluations and documentation reviews when needed.
- Deliver health safety training sessions as agreed with the Project Manager.
- Propose and promote health safety initiatives and forward recommendations to the Project and HSE Sustainability Managers.
- Assist in incident investigations and ensure timely and effective closure of incident reports and inspection findings.
- Act as liaison with regulatory bodies such as the HSA and EPA when required.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in health safety practices and report them accordingly.
- Represent the organization at relevant health safety meetings and forums.
