Dream Job for Conveyancing Expertise

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal expertise and advice on conveyancing transactions, specifically in the acquisition of MV substation sites and granting of easements. This involves initial instruction to completion and registration.

Conducting general commercial conveyancing work, encompassing ESB Networks' technical property infrastructure, including regularizing title.

Managing a caseload, working closely with line managers and supporting other team members.

Meeting with and advising ESB business clients, particularly ESBN Engineering Officers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification commercial conveyancing experience in a legal practice and admission as a solicitor in the relevant state.
  • Demonstrated expertise in commercial conveyancing, including sales, purchases, granting and taking easements, leases, licenses, contracts for sale, and requisitions on title.
  • Strong planning, organization, and case management skills, with a proven track record of managing a large caseload effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure, delivering results while meeting tight deadlines and collaborating with others.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, effective communication, and negotiation with third-party solicitors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Office 365.
