The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field, as well as valid Safe Pass certification. FETAC Level 6 qualification or equivalent is preferred. Experience with commercial building systems, BMS systems (Trend, Honeywell, Johnson Controls), and knowledge of gas handling would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnostics and resolution of complex mechanical issues across multiple properties.
  • Maintenance of building management systems (BMS) and energy optimization systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
  • Valid Safe Pass certification.
  • FETAC Level 6 qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Gas Safe/RGI certification advantageous.
  • F-Gas handling certification.
