Job Title

Lead Structural Thermal Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our structural and thermal engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing multidisciplinary analysis workflows to predict optical system performance under various environmental loads.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering fields, with a strong background in finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulation. Proficiency in ANSYS or equivalent multiphysics simulation environments is required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Optical, Aerospace Engineering or relevant field.
  • 8+ years of mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering field experience.
  • Skills:
  • Deep expertise in FEA for structural analysis and thermal analysis.
  • Strong background in STOP analysis, including experience integrating structural/thermal results into optical performance models.
  • Proficient with ANSYS, Simcenter 3D, or equivalent multiphysics simulation environments.
