As we continue to push the boundaries of this technology, we are seeking a motivated Photonic Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to a world-class communication program.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the development and implementation of photonic systems, optical transmission, and free space optical communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing photonic and free space optical systems and sub-systems for high-speed communication applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting experiments to support testing related to optical/photonic systems with free space optical transmission channels. They will also be responsible for developing simulation models for satellite and terrestrial optical transmission system design.

In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will be required to characterize and test optical and photonic components for space environments. Effective communication of testing plans and results internally and externally is also crucial.
