Executive Culinary Leader

We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Leader to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.

  • Menu Development: Our ideal candidate will design and update seasonal menus in line with culinary trends and customer preferences, ensuring creative and high-quality dishes that meet budget requirements.
  • Kitchen Management: As a skilled leader, you will supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks, scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and maintaining adequate kitchen coverage.
  • Cost Control: Effective inventory management, ordering supplies, and liaising with vendors to source quality ingredients are essential for this role. You will also be responsible for minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Our organization prioritizes the health and safety of our team and customers. As Executive Culinary Leader, you will enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in accordance with local regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Your leadership skills will foster a positive and productive working environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff, conduct regular performance evaluations, and support staff development.
  • Quality Assurance: Regular quality checks on food and service are crucial. Handle customer feedback related to food quality or kitchen service.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Formal culinary training or relevant certifications (e.g., food safety).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks/multi operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong budgeting, organizational, and time management abilities.
