Retirement Planning Support Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage our Retirement Planning Support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient running of the team, ensuring quality appointments are booked in each week and all administration tasks are completed within the applicable SLA and compliantly.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Monitor and prioritise work within the retirement planning support team.
  • Conduct weekly individual and team meetings to coach, support, and guide team members towards meeting agreed objectives.
  • Work with the Financial Planning Support Manager to carry out performance management reviews & objective setting for team members.
  • Manage all types of leave (annual, sick etc.) for the team.
  • Develop and enhance relationships across the business to ensure effective delivery for the retirement planning support team.
  • Supervise and manage all retirement planning support team lead sources effectively.
  • Undertake quality control checks on lead management within the team and deliver on campaign hit rate targets.
  • Deal with any complaints or compliance issues that arise within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a financial services organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of RPS Team tasks and objectives.
  • APA in Life, Pensions required upon commencement in the role and willingness to work towards full QFA.
