The position of Associate Director, Retirement Programs plays a pivotal role within the Total Rewards organization.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Investment Policy Development: The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of investment policy, liquidity requirements, and controls framework for retirement assets.
- Retirement Plan Provider Coordination: Coordinating and monitoring retirement plan service providers, including administrators, actuaries, investment managers, auditors, lawyers, and other advisors is crucial to ensuring smooth operations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitoring local regulations and legislation changes that impact retirement plans is essential to maintaining compliance.
- Oversight Framework: Maintaining a framework of appropriate oversight of key function holders of the plan is vital to its successful operation.
- Governance Framework Support: Facilitating governance framework of the plan, supporting trustee meetings, delegated committee meetings, regulatory reporting, and interactions between company sponsors and trustees requires strong organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with knowledge of industry agents and the role of key function holders. A degree-level qualification or equivalent professional certification in a financial role or Treasury role in the funds industry is highly desirable.
